Tim is a visionary and his leadership provides our Team with valuable collective experience, expertise, and vision. This guides AuspiCare as it works to change the paradigm of health care so that personalised and wholistic health care is accessible for everyone, regardless of race, creed, or gender. Tim is driven by his core values which are love and service to God, Family and Humanity. Tim’s underpinning philosophy has led to his commitment to serving others through his humanity, intellect and his vocation as a doctor. This drives his passion as Tim seeks to enhance the lives of others through teaching and education. Moreover he aims to deliver patient centred and personalised care through integrating novel models of care complimented by technology. Tim has received multiple Academic scholarships. Tim graduated with Honours in Medicine in 1998 and had actively sought to be proficient in all aspects of medicine and surgery and has accumulated significant experience in these disciplines. Tim provided medical care for the past 25 years, serving the community. Tim initially worked in austere environments in PNG, then Tim worked consistently in rural and underserved areas in Australia. Tim’s commitment to being proficient as a doctor, led him to focus on the field of “critical care medicine”, so Tim spent significant time in Paediatric and Adult Intensive Care Departments as well as Adult and Paediatric Emergency Departments over the past 20 years. Tim held a number of senior roles, including Director of Emergency Medicine Training (for the past 5 years). One of Tim’s other significant contributions was to establish one of the first Simulation Education Fellowship rotations in Australia in 2014. Tim’s passion for service to others has led Tim to becoming an early adopter of not only Ultrasound but Echocardiography in the Emergency Department, processes which are only now becoming integrated into regular practice. Tim is a graduate (diploma) in Clinical Ultrasound and Echocardiology from Melbourne University. Tim completed a postgraduate diploma in Elder Care with distinction from Wales University in order to better care for the elderly and disabled. Tims broad interest included a Bachelors in Medical Sciences (Biochemistry), focussed on the molecular basis of disease which has helped inform an understanding of genetic and congenital disorders.
